Q: What is your passion?

A: My passion is simply being creative whether it's graffiti or your typical modern art or even photography. I want whatever piece I make to speak to people. I want my art to have many messages and to make people think.

Q: How did you discover your passion?

A: When I was in 1st grade, I would read a lot of comics and tried to make my own comic characters. A couple years after, I stopped drawing and picked it back up in high school where I was introduced to the world of graffiti where I learned many styles from my friends. Then, in college, I tried making more abstract artwork to challenge myself artistically and ever since then I've just loved painting.

Q: Who has supported you through your journey?

My family & friends have also been my biggest supporters. If I make any new art work, I show them 1st just to see their opinions on it. I love the feedback I get back from them.

Q: What is a hardship that you've endured while pursuing your passion?

A: I guess one hardship I have gone through was being comfortable with showing my artwork to people, whether in person or the Internet. I didn't think my artwork was all that great a couple years ago but once I became comfortable and having many positive compliments on my art, I became a lil’ more comfortable putting it out .
Q: What have you learned about yourself and the world in pursuit of your passion?

A: I've learned that being any kind of artist can be stressful at times but it all pays off once you stay consistent. Not everyone is gonna be looking out for you with whatever you’re making so you have to put yourself out there for people to notice. At first, I never liked showing my art but once I got the guts to put my art online or network myself as an artist, people started noticing a talent they never knew I had.

Q: What is one of your proudest moments in relation to your passion?-

A: My proudest moment was putting together an art show with my friends Zulie and Shiara where we displayed our appreciation of the old New York. At that show, I showed not only paintings but a few photos. The feedback I got from the show was incredible and I met a lot of cool artists as well.

Q: What advice would you give your younger self?

A: I would just tell my younger self to keep being a creative person. Don’t ever doubt your ideas and to always believe you can do whatever you put your mind to.
